I need a hand moving some furniture around the house before the party on Saturday. Most of it is not too heavy, but it is bulky.

I can be be available just about any time that you are, but tonight or tomorrow night is preferable. Saturday morning if all else fails. It should not take too long.

Hack Fail

Save the Date! Saturday night Oct 24

We shall be celebrating my Douglass Adam's Birthday Party on Saturday Oct 24 so bring your towel. I have mostly ignored my B-Days since I turned 21, but I have also been looking forward to this one since even before then. Therefore, I need your help to make it memorable. No presents, just your presence. It will be at the new house in Vinings in the middle of the woods. (Ok, technically it is Smyrna but I am surrounded by Vinings addresses).

Food and Drink will, of course, be provided. The LJ crowd is usually entertaining by themselves, though various versions of Hitchhikers will probably be playing.

It will start sometime in the evening and go to when ever. More information will follow, but mark your calendars and prepare the Infinite Improbability Drive.

I am finishing packing up and waiting for the movers. Tonight, I will be at the new place. I do not know about internet connectivity, so it might be tomorrow at work until I am back on the grid. I really hate moving and I know that I will plenty to do after the big stuff is gone, but at least the majority of it will done.


Now to get ready to unpack 4 billions boxes of stuff.

I was making my morning pilgrimage to the new house this morning and saw two deer standing in the driveway. I was just heading down a hill into the driveway and saw a 6 or so point buck standing in the middle of the driveway at the bottom of the hill. As I stopped and watched it and it watched me, a doe came out the woods. We watched each other for a bit and then they moved off back into the woods.

Not a bad way to start the morning!

Note to Self: 2 boxes of sugary cereal in a 5 year old can be countered by 2 hours of playing in the surf and building sand castles.
