I was born, raised and live in Atlanta. I own a house very close to Emory. I am married and have a 18 month (and counting) old son. Though I have travelled through out the world and London is my favorite city outside of Atlanta.
I was born in later part of 20th century. However, my mind seems to wander from when the Egyptians walked this earth to sometime far in the future.
I am currently working for a software company as Head of Software Quality Assurance. A nice big impressive sounding title, but it is a small company and they gave almost everyone nice big titles. I usually end up doing some of everything from phones and mail to Trade shows and training. HA HA... not any more... new company to be updated soon.
Enough of the boring stuff, the more interesting things below
I enjoy and do some of everything, when I am not stuck at work--
I brew Mead. Mead is probably the oldest alcohol known to man. It is basically Fermented Honey and when made properly is quite tastie. I brew mead because I can easily buy good beer and wine, but I have not found a good source of Mead.
I love to play computer games - Mostly RTS's Warcraft, Starcraft, Age of Empires, and currently Battle for Middle earth and Dawn of War. A friend got me hooked on Battlefield 1942 and Vietnam, so I am getting to like 1st person shooters much more.
I also enjoy playing just about any other types of game - Cards (Gin and Poker especially), Magic the Gathering (I beat Richard Garfield in a Dual), AD&D, ShadowRun, board games, paintball, golf - just about anything.
I have built an Potato Cannon that has an electric ignition and can fire the helpless spud almost 300 yds. I am currently working to create the correct bore and wadding to fire golf balls.
I read mostly Fantasy books currently, I used to read a more broad range, but with so little reading time at the moment I am looking for something lite and easy.
